After a very long dormancy, I had a flare-up of alopecia. I lost maybe 30% of my hair and what was left looked dull, dry, and damaged despite treatments and conditioners. I discovered through an ad that Abstrax Salon specialized in alopecia victims and made an appointment for an evaluation. It was literally the best thing I ever did for my hair as well as my self-esteem! My hair looked immediately better after the Lanza Treatment, and after several treatments there was actually regrowth. I was ecstatic that I could also resume color and highlights using the Lanza botanically-based line of products. Thanks to the magic fingers of Pam and Laura (as well as their amazing product), I am so grateful that my hair is being restored to even better condition than before the flare-up. When I first came to Abstrax, my hair was thinning I was desperate to find help, little did I know my life was about to change once I set up my first consultation with Laura. Laura listened to my concerns, she worked loosely with me and laid out a plan. We started with hair extensions that immediately gave me my confidence back. Over a short period of time my own hair started to grow back fuller and longer. Today I no longer need hair extensions due to the professional care I received. This salon goes above and beyond to care for their clients.

We came across Wigs for Kids. It was the most amazing experience we have ever had. The people were professional and caring. The process was simple and the application easy. We had to choose a salon where she would go to be measured for her new wig. We chose to go to Abstrax hair Salon in Toms River, NJ, and met with Laura. She amazing! She was kind and professional. She took great care of our daughter. She explained everything and spent a long time with her making sure everything was perfect. She was never in a hurry, she took her time. Laura set a time out for Maylynn where she didn’t have to worry about having other clients to attend to. She made us feel like the most important thing was making sure Maylynn had everything she needed and everything was done right. It is truly amazing to find people like Laura that will take time out of their day to measure and spend so much time with Maylyyn for free!! We thank Laura and Wigs for Kids for the opportunity they have given my daughter to feel normal again.
